THE GREENS AT RENTON
Blue Course
Boasting a 9 Hole 2843 Yard green, our Blue Course is definitely a beautiful treat! With many different sceneries within this 9- you wont believe you are playing the same course.
Blue 1
Par 4: 336 Yards
Pro-Tip
This par 4 usually plays into the wind. A miss right may leave you in one of the fairway bunkers, the left side is out of bounds.
Blue 2
Par 5: 429
Pro-Tip
This short par 5 is easily reachable in two. A tee shot at the 200 yard mark is ideal, as the fairway drops down after, and you may be left with a downhill lie to this elevated green. This green is guarded by bunkers on both sides.
Blue 3
Par 5: 481 Yards
Pro-Tip
A 230 yard carry over the water on the right side, with out of bounds to the left, makes this tee shot difficult. A fairway bunker lies in the ideal landing area and the fairway slopes from left to right towards the water.
Blue 4
Par 3: 143 Yards
Pro-Tip
A bunker lies behind the hill, club selection is important if the pin is placed on the right side of this green
Blue 5
Par 4: 351 Yards
Pro-Tip
255 yards to reach the water on the left side. With a meticulously placed drive you will be safe, but laying up to the 150 yard marker is an advisable tee shot.
Blue 6
Par 4: 315
Pro-Tip
A tight tee shot on this short par 4 can be trouble with thick trees and out of bounds on the left-hand side. Taking driver is an option, but a well-controlled tee shot is recommended.
Blue 7
Par 4: 253 Yards
Pro-Tip
This short par 4 is a tempting driver with a reachable, elevated green. There is danger with out of bounds left and long, so judging distance is key. An iron shot into the valley leaves an easier approach shot.
Blue 8
Par 3: 164 Yards
Pro-Tip
A longer par 3, with a small green, makes for a tough tee shot. Short leaves an uphill approach, while long leaves a tough downhill chip. Caution for the bunkers on the right hand side.
Blue 9
Par 4: 373 Yards
Pro-Tip
Our signature hole, with a scenic view of the club house and a large pond to right, leave for a great view. There is a creek that runs along the right side up through the middle of the hole for long hitters. A tee shot down the centre of the fairway leaves a shot to the bunker protected green.
